MCSO: 14-year-old threatened to shoot up school

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) – A 14-year-old was taken into custody after authorities say he threatened to shoot up Grand Bay Middle School.

According to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, the boy stated in a group chat he was going to bring a gun and shoot up the school. Authorities say that he also posted a picture of a gun in the group chat. He told investigators that he got the photo off Pinterest, they say.

Deputies searched the boy’s home and did not find a gun, according to the MCSO…
