3 Deadly crashes in Baldwin County raise concerns on holiday travel dangers

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Alabama State Troopers are investigating multiple deadly crashes in Baldwin County on I-65 and Highway 225.

Three people were killed in a two-vehicle crash on I-65 that occurred on Tuesday, Dec. 23, according to law enforcement. Authorities said a vehicle being driven by Simon Hadley, 84, of Bay Minette collided head-on with a vehicle being driven by Amaya Williams, 21, of Albany, Ga.

Williams and a passenger in her vehicle, Keithrick Williams, 49, of Auburn, were pronounced deceased on the scene, according to officials. Law enforcement said Hadley was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The crash occurred near the 39 mile marker at 7:45 p.m., according to officials…
