Armed suspect wanted after Christmas Eve and Christmas Day shootings in Creola and Satsuma

CREOLA, Ala (NBC 15) — The Creola Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying and finding an armed suspect. Investigators say he’s fired shots at people he’s argued with in two different stores the last two nights. On Christmas, Chief Shane Stringer says officers responded to the Raceway gas station on Highway 43.

“Discovered that a car had been shot and also one round had struck the building,” said Stringer. “One of the rounds went through the headrest on the vehicle.”

Stringer says the suspect bought Copenhagen dip and exchanged words with another person he didn’t know in the store. Stringer says the suspect then went to a SUV parked at a pump, pulled out a handgun and fired at that person’s car. Stringer says multiple people were sitting in it. Fortunately, no one was hurt…
