SPANISH FORT, Ala. (WKRG) — Spanish Fort’s new mayor says people need to do a better job with their Christmas trash.

Mayor Brad Bass posted a video on the city’s Facebook page Sunday night showing the Ember Lane Recycling facility dumpsters overflowing with trash and boxes.
Bass said this accumulation of trash happened just between Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon.
“We’ve got to do better as a city,” said Mayor Brad Bass. “Moving forward, we will be issuing fines and also some public embarrassment for those folks that continue to show up here on camera dumping, leaving their things here for the city to do cleanup.”…
