Foley Church Offers Safe Overnight Warming Center

Foley, Ala. — (OBA) — St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Foley, 506 N. Pine Street in Foley, is opening its doors as a warming center for people who need a safe place to escape the cold. Church leaders say the effort is part of their ongoing mission to serve neighbors in need. The warming center will be set up in the church’s Parish Hall and will welcome anyone seeking warmth and shelter. Organizers stress that there are no qualifications or requirements to receive help at the site.

The temporary warming center will operate today, Monday, December 29, 2025, starting at 12 p.m. at the church campus. It will remain open overnight and close at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Staff and volunteers plan to be on site throughout the entire period to assist guests and help ensure the space remains safe and comfortable.
