Mobile cops probe late-night New Year’s Eve gunfire

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — While the New Year’s Eve celebration in downtown Mobile was free of major incidents, a shooting was reported elsewhere in the city.

Mobile Police say they responded to the 2600 block of First Avenue for a reported shooting on Wednesday, Dec. 31, just before 11 p.m.
