UPDATE: 12:15 PM: Mobile’s Police chief says three officers have been injured responding to a call Sunday morning. Chief William Jackson said officers responded to a home on Tuscaloosa Street for a call of shots fired. Two officers were injured in an accident on their way to the call. A third officer was injured at the scene. The chief would not say how the third officer was hurt but sources say that officer was shot. Jackson said all are expected to recover.
Chief Jackson says the situation ended peacefully with an approximately 40-year-old man and a woman in custody. Police say there will be a formal news conference this afternoon at headquarters at 2 pm.
Mobile, Ala. (WKRG)–Mobile police say a suspect has barricaded himself inside a home in Midtown Mobile. The home is located on Tuscaloosa Street between Old Shell Road and Springhill Avenue.
