MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Officials in Mobile County continue their efforts this winter to try and keep as many people as they can out of the cold. In anticipation of cold temperatures for the work week, shelters will be open starting Sunday evening at 5.
According to a news release, shelters will be open at the Waterfront Rescue Mission, McKemie Place, and the Salvation Army. If temperatures remain below 40 degrees, they’ll continue the shelters overnight Monday and Tuesday.
