Mobile woman accused of damaging cars and trashing church faces new charges

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A woman suspected of causing $17,000 worth of damage at a car dealership faces new charges.

According to the Mobile Police Department, Regina Stanley now has additional charges of first-degree criminal mischief and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stanley was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 10, for allegedly vandalizing the Mullinax Ford dealership, where she allegedly caused $17,000 worth of damage to cars at the business.

Police allege that she visited the Community of Christ Church on Azalea Road before the incident at the car dealership and reportedly caused damage to that property, as well.

Surveillance video shows a woman smashing into the chapel with a crowbar on Friday morning, leaving behind thousands of dollars in damage.

“We’re looking at $6,000-$10,000 (in damage), which, according to police, that’s a felony,” Associate Pastor Rick Griffin said shortly after the incident…
