American Legion Post 199 celebrates reopening in Fairhope

FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WALA) – American Legion Post 199 celebrated its reopening Thursday morning with a VIP breakfast for veterans, marking the completion of a new building that replaced the facility destroyed by Hurricane Sally in 2020.

The celebration highlighted the completion of phase two of the reconstruction project, which includes a new historical building. Phase one was completed in November.
