Mobile and Baldwin counties placed under a cold weather advisory Monday – wind chills falling to 22

At 11:10 a.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued a cold weather advisory valid for Monday between midnight and 8 a.m. for Mobile and Baldwin counties.

The weather service comments, “Very cold wind chills as low as 22 degrees expected.”

“Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure,” explains the weather service. “Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.”
