MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Cold weather has prompted schedule changes for one area college and several public school systems for Monday, Jan. 26, while others plan to hold classes as usual.
Faulkner University in Mobile has announced a weather delay on Monday, Jan. 26. Due to extremely cold morning conditions, the campus opening will be pushed back to 11 a.m., officials said.
Because of a potential for slick roads and because students and faculty have to travel between campuses and communities throughout southwest Alabama, Coastal Alabama Community College in Bay Minette will delay opening until at 11 a.m. Monday.
In Mobile, classes at Bishop State Community College will also have a delayed start Monday at all campuses, with classes beginning at noon, officials said…
