Two sisters decided to tie the knot side by side in an epic New Year’s Eve double wedding.
Mary Rose DeMouy Sharp, 31, and Will Sharp, 32, said “I do” alongside Hallet Marquez and John Marquez, both 27, on Dec. 31 in a traditional ceremony at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, followed by a fun reception at the Country Club of Mobile in Mobile, Ala. Approximately 550 to 600 guests attended the black-tie celebration.
“The day felt surreal in the best way. Every emotion I felt for myself, I also felt for my sister,” Hallet tells PEOPLE, adding, “Having these parallel moments added an extra feeling of joy and gratitude. The day was beautiful and sunny, the night was energetic and free, dancing with my husband on one side and sister on the other.”…
