MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Residents in Mobile County who need help filing their taxes can get that help through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, according to the United Way of Southwest Alabama.

“The VITA program helps individuals and families file accurate tax returns, claim all eligible credits, and avoid costly tax preparation fees,” a United Way news release said.
