SPANISH FORT, Ala. (WKRG) — Spanish Fort residents wishing to recycle have only to walk to their curb now with the launching of curbside recycling, according to the Solid Waste Disposal Authority of Baldwin County.

According to a SWDA news release, the utility is partnering with the Town of Spanish Fort to bring the program that will give residents a “convenient way to support a cleaner, more sustainable community.”
Interested residents can opt into a weekly curbside recycling service for $10 a month, giving them the ability to recycle common household materials like paper, plastic, aluminum and cardboard and take it to the curb for pickup…
