Sec. McMahon, AL Education Supt. Mackey visit Satsuma school on History Rocks! tour

SATSUMA, Ala. (NBC 15) — US Education Secretary Linda McMahon, Alabama Education Superintendent Mackey visited Satsuma Friday morning as part of the “History Rocks!” tour. The visit was originally scheduled for Murphy High School before the Mobile County School System requested the visit be rescheduled.

The History Rocks! initiative is described as a key component of the U.S. Department of Education’s America 250 celebrations, coordinated with the America 250 Civics Education Coalition, a national partnership with the America First Policy Institute, Turning Point USA, Hillsdale College, and more than 50 national and state organizations.
