The Mobile Museum of Art was the perfect venue for Jonathan and Bria’s wedding day. Art is an important part of the couple’s lives, and they were intentional about making it central to their day. Several meaningful artistic elements were included throughout the celebration, including the bride and groom’s unity ceremony, which featured a custom glass-blowing experience they completed together prior to the wedding. The final piece — an infinity-shaped glass sculpture — symbolizes their two lives becoming one in a lasting, unbroken bond. A live painter captured the ceremony and reception in real time, creating pieces for the couple to cherish for years to come.
After the ceremony, the couple made their grand entrance to the reception in a second line led by Jukebox Brass Band, with custom bride and groom umbrellas as a playful nod to the birthplace of Mardi Gras. After the first dance to “You’re My Latest, My Greatest Inspiration” and the father-daughter dance, all entered the dance floor. The night ended with a sparkler exit and the newlyweds rode off in a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.
