Foley High School student wins BBQ & Blues T-shirt contest

FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — The Foley BBQ & Blues Cook Off has announced its winner of the 2026 T-shirt Design Contest.

New details released during bond hearing for kidnapping suspect in case of missing Theodore family

Foley High School student Soledad Sanchez was selected as the winner of the contest. Her design will be prominently featured on the official t-shirt for the event.

Every year, 14 schools supported by the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation are invited to have their students submit original artwork for the T-shirt design contest. Attendees will be able to view the top 25 student designs at the festival, including the winners.

This will be the 18th annual cook-off and will take place at Heritage Park, as with previous years. The event is presented by RiverView Turf and sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. It begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, and features barbecue, food trucks, live music, a kids’ zone, and an assortment of craft and retail vendors…
