MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Ashland Place Health and Rehab held its annual Mardi Gras parade today. It’s the second year of the event.
The parade included groups from across the city, including schools, hospice groups, the Azalea Trail Maids and even the mayor, who came by to enjoy the festivities.
“I think this is a great break from the normal and that’s kind of what Mardi Gras is. It’s a reason to celebrate,” Mayor Spiro Cheriogotis said. “Mardi Gras is just a special time and we’re glad the folks at Ashland Place are celebrating.”…
