Baldwin County Approves New Engineering Design For Beach Express
Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — The Baldwin County Commission approved a new engineering agreement for the Baldwin Beach Express II. This project will improve the northern section of the highway corridor. The work covers a nearly 5-mile stretch of road from U.S. Highway 31 to Interstate 65.
The Baldwin County Commission approved this agreement during a meeting on February 19, 2026. Officials announced the plan’s details on February 20, 2026. The project will help build a 25-mile road from Interstate 10 to Interstate 65.
