MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – An arrest has been made in the mass shooting in downtown Mobile.
Seven innocent bystanders were shot around 11 p.m. near Dauphin and Joachim streets, just hours after more than a hundred thousand people attended Joe Cain Day.
First 911 calls
The first call to 911 came in at 11:01. The caller told the operator they were downtown on Dauphin Street and somebody who got shot was laying on the ground.
The operator asked if the shooter was around. The caller responded, “Not that I know of. Everyone cleared the area once the shots went off.”…
