MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Mobile City Council approved two contracts Tuesday tied to Mobile’s ongoing arena development, as Mayor Spiro Cheriogotis said a “topping out” ceremony is planned for early next month.
The topping out ceremony will mark the building reaching its full height.
The council approved the $322,000 purchase of a Zamboni machine, which will be used to smooth the ice at the rink located within the arena.
