Assistant principal in Baldwin County pleads guilty to DUI, placed on probation

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Belforest Elementary School’s assistant principal will be on probation for the next two years after pleading guilty to driving under the influence.

Daphne Police most recently arrested Melissa Spriggs during a traffic stop in November; it was her second DUI arrest.

Tuesday, she pleaded guilty, News 5 has learned.

Spriggs will not serve any jail time but will spend the next two years on probation with random testing.
