Kris Haskins’ expertise spans clinical operations, policy development, evidence‑based practice, and regulatory readiness. In this new role, he will oversee clinical compliance initiatives and support ongoing efforts to advance patient safety and uphold regulatory excellence across Children’s & Women’s Hospital.
Kristopher “Kris” Haskins, MSN, RN, has been named the new director of clinical compliance and regulatory services at Children’s & Women’s Hospital. He brings more than 20 years of nursing experience and a strong record of leading complex, high‑acuity clinical operations within USA Health, the academic health system for the University of South Alabama.
Haskins previously served as nurse manager for the Arnold Luterman Regional Burn Center at University Hospital where he also had responsibility for the Intermediate Care Unit, the Outpatient Burn Wound Clinic and multiple inpatient units through interim management assignments, including critical care, oncology, and telemetry. He has also contributed to systemwide committees dedicated to patient safety, ethics, and value‑based purchasing.
