MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — A seat on the Mobile County District Court is now open after District Judge Deborah Tillman resigned, setting off the process to appoint her replacement.
The Mobile County Judicial Commission announced the vacancy Monday and released a timeline for how the position will be filled. By law, the commission screens applicants and submits three names to Gov. Kay Ivey, who makes the final appointment.
Anyone interested in the job can pick up an application packet from Court Administration on the eighth floor of Government Plaza through March 23. Applications must be turned in by April 17…
