MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Mobile native and Mardi Gras legend has passed away at the age of 91.
The Mobile Area Mardi Gras Association made the announcement on Facebook on Friday, Feb. 27, that Tom Withers had passed away. He was the longest living member of MAMGA and a life-long friend of Hank Aaron, the Home Run King.
He also served on the board for the Mobile Sports Hall of Fame and was a salesman at Robinson Brothers.
