Mobile Police: ‘Lack of conflict resolution’ led to shooting at Subway

(UPDATE 6:30 p.m.): News 5 is learning more about what led to the argument that ended in gunfire inside a Subway restaurant on Dauphin Street on Thursday night.

A store manager said that 31-year-old Markeas Bernard was working alone when he began arguing with a man who was knocking items over inside the store.

“All of this stemmed because of the lack of conflict resolution on an employee in the middle of a verbal altercation,” Public Information Officer Roderick Miles said…
