JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) – A Theodore, Alabama man pleaded guilty Thursday to commercial burglary and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon in Jackson County Circuit Court.
Judge Keith Miller sentenced Thomas Andrew Wade, 54, to concurrent maximum terms of seven years for commercial burglary and 10 years for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
As a habitual offender, Wade must serve the sentence day-for-day without the possibility of early release or parole. The sentence will run consecutively to a sentence Wade was already serving in Alabama.
Officials said Wade was captured on video breaking into Ginko Liquor Store in Ocean Springs on July 30, 2022, and stole a gun and a cash box stored near the cash register. An alarm sounded shortly after the break-in, and Wade fled…
