UPDATE (7 p.m.): A Dauphin Island man stood before a judge and pleaded guilty to murdering his longtime girlfriend, Casey Fulford.
Prosecutors said 45-year-old Jereme Lewis was arguing with Fulford at a home on Chenault Avenue in August of 2024.
Police say the fight ended when Lewis pulled a gun and shot Fulford several times…
