University of South Alabama opens new $13 million marching band complex

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Members of the University of South Alabama Marching Band are eager to make music at their new on-campus facility.

The university cut the ribbon on its brand-new Geri and Gordon Moulton Jaguar Marching Band Complex on Friday morning.

“I was amazed at how incredible and like state of the art all the facilities were,” said Drum Major Shannon Kille.

The $13 million complex is fully equipped with instrument lockers, rehearsal rooms, conference rooms, individual practice rooms, and a turf practice field.
