ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A man from Stapleton is dead after a crash between a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Escambia County, Florida. According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened Saturday night on State Road 97 near Hendricks Lane.
Troopers say a 54-year-old man from Stapleton was heading north on 97 while the pickup was heading south. The report says the motorcycle entered the southbound lane and collided with the truck. The motorcyclist died at the scene. The driver and passenger in the truck were taken to a hospital for what are described as minor injuries. No names have been released.
