4 juveniles arrested in stolen vehicle investigation, Mobile police say

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police Department officers have detained four juveniles in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation, News 5 has learned.

Around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, officers saw a vehicle reported stolen in the area of Halls Mill Road and McVay Drive and attempted to make a traffic stop, according to an MPD news release.

But the driver did not pull over, and officers followed the vehicle until it stopped near Holcombe Avenue and Government Street, at which point the juveniles ran away on foot, the release said.

‘Officers detained all subjects, and upon further investigation, discovered the vehicle was stolen from the 2500 block of N. McVay Drive,” officials said…
