MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — The entire NBC-15 area has been placed in a level 2 slight risk of severe storms, mainly for late tonight through the overnight. If we see severe weather, damaging winds would be the primary concern, but isolated tornadoes will also be possible.
We’ll be Code Red at NBC-15 which means as we head into tonight, stop and consider the weather. Make sure you have multiple ways to receive alerts and know where your safe place is just in case.
Storms will clear by the second half of Thursday as cooler air moves in. There’s a chance we don’t reach 70 on Thursday, then by Thursday night lows will head back into the 40s! Our cool down will be short-lived though as highs return the 70s Friday afternoon under mostly sunny skies…
