A federal judge on Tuesday dismissed a wrongful death lawsuit against the City of Mobile and two police officers filed by the family of Jawan Dallas, who died after a 2023 arrest in Theodore.
U.S. District Court Judge Kristi K. DuBose issued an order granting summary judgment in favor of the City of Mobile and officers Jared Hutto and Christian Davila on all remaining claims in the lawsuit.
