MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — Our next Weathermaker will arrive late this weekend in the form of a cold front. From late Sunday night through the pre-dawn hours of Monday morning, a line of thunderstorms will move across the NBC-15 area. When that line moves through, there will be a chance for strong to severe storms. The entire NBC-15 area has already been placed in a level 2 slight risk which means scattered severe storms are possible.
All modes of severe weather look possible; damaging winds, isolated tornadoes (some could be strong), and hail. We’ll be Code Red here at NBC-15. That means by the end of the weekend, Stop and consider the weather. Have a plan which should include having multiple ways to receive alerts, knowing where your safe place is, and clearly communicating your plan with others in your household…
