Mobile investigators seek tips that could crack Texas woman’s 2022 homicide case

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help in solving a cold case.

Wanted sex offender, fugitive found and arrested in Fort Walton Beach

According to a Facebook post from the MCSO, Sha’Ravion Toney, a resident of Texas, was reported missing to the Mobile Police Department by family members on Aug. 13, 2022. Her last contact with her family was on Aug. 5, 2022.

Investigators reportedly found that Toney came to Mobile on Aug. 6, 2022, to pick up her car from a body shop where it was being worked on.

The Prichard Police Department was called to a vacant lot in the 700 block of Dallas Street for a report of a dead woman on Aug. 13, 2022. The body was identified as Toney, and her death was ruled a homicide.
