MCSO: Murdered Choc family died from stab wounds

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A Mobile County Sheriff’s Office official has told FOX10 News that a forensics investigation has revealed that the Choc family died from stab wounds.

Three bodies were recovered March 11 in a lightly wooded area off Downing Road in Baldwin County that are believed to be those of the missing Choc family out of Mobile County. Aurelia Choc-Cac, 40, and her two children, Niurka Zuleta-Choc, 17, and Anthony Garcia-Choc, 2, had been missing since January when they were last seen at their home in Theodore.

Authorities are still waiting on positive body identifications, but the official told FOX10 News that one victim was found with a necklace with her name on it and another had a bracelet with his name on it.

Hector Argueta-Guerra faces three counts of capital murder in their deaths. His attorney said the defense plans to plead not guilty to all charges…
