PRICHARD, Ala. (WKRG) — Local business owners in Prichard are being reminded of the Business License Amnesty Period.
Court documents reveal more about Prichard police officer accused of stealing guns, shooting roommate
According to a news release, the period runs through March 30 and allows those who owe license fees to be forgiven.
Those who can apply include:
- Businesses behind on City of Prichard business license fees for the past two years.
- Businesses with unpaid license balances from the previous two license periods.
- Businesses with accumulated penalties or interest on delinquent fees.
- Businesses that ceased operations within the past two years but still have unresolved license obligations.
The City is providing a full waiver on all penalties and interest on past-due license fees, payment arrangements for those unable to pay the full principal immediately, and a temporary suspension of enforcement actions against participating businesses during the amnesty period, the release said…
