Mobile county moves to preserve historic home linked to Black business leader

Mobile, AL (NBC 15) – Mobile County leaders are taking steps to preserve a historic home tied to a trailblazing Black pastor and entrepreneur.

During a recent County Commission work session, officials discussed plans to purchase the home at 1358 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue—once owned by C. First Johnson.
