MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Baldwin County’s dedicated workforce will take center stage this April during Hometown Heroes, a two-day appreciation event designed to honor local Civic Champions. This includes police, firefighters, EMS, teachers, sanitation workers, county and city employees, and more—the essential individuals who keep the region running every day. Rob Cox joined us on Studio10 to discuss the incredible response from local partners and how they are preparing to honor our hometown heroes.
The event, held in Robertsdale, kicks off on Thursday, April 2nd, with a free community dinner, followed by a free lunch on Friday, April 3rd. In addition to the meals, Civic Champions will have the chance to win a variety of raffle prizes ranging from local gift cards and chainsaws to a brand new 2026 Polaris Sportsman 450 ATV.
Ultimately, Hometown Heroes is about bringing the community together to show gratitude for those who work tirelessly to make Baldwin County wonderful…
