BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — As Elberta continues to grown, the town’s biggest twice-annual event wrapped up with a new organization taking charge.
The March 2026 event was the last one to be ran by the fire department. Beginning in October, the Sausage Festival will be part of the newly formed nonprofit, Elberta Community Partners. An announcement was made Saturday night at the end of the festival.
