Mobile man arrested after allegedly threatening court employees, posting ‘deadly force’ warnings online

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A Mobile man is facing federal charges after investigators say he threatened court workers with hostile phone calls, alarming online posts and in-person confrontations.

Luis Antidio Olivera was taken into custody Tuesday, accused of making threatening communications against local court personnel. Federal court records lay out a pattern of escalating behavior.

Threats and hostile behavior

According to a federal affidavit, the case grew out of Olivera’s anger over several civil cases he had filed.

Court documents say Olivera repeatedly called the circuit clerk’s office, sometimes multiple times a day, using abusive language and telling employees he would get them fired or arrested…
