Baldwin County district judge appointed by Gov. Kay Ivey

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Alabama Governor Kay Ivey has appointed a Baldwin County district judge.

According to a news release from Gov. Ivey’s office, Fairhope’s J. Langford Floyd will serve as the district judge in the 28th Judicial Circuit.

Judge Floyd is succeeding previously appointed Judge Ashley Siebert.

“Judge Lang Floyd is well known to Baldwin County for his two decades of previous service in the 28th Judicial Circuit as a judge in both District and Circuit Court,” said Gov. Ivey. “His record of jurisprudence is well known throughout the state, and I am pleased he has agreed to return to the bench after retirement to serve the people of Baldwin County.”
