MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A mother fought back tears Wednesday as she recounted finding her 9-year-old daughter shot to death on a couch in the living room.
Testifying at the capital murder trial of Darius Janoski Lucky Jr., Andrea Bright said she took her 3-year-old daughter to the emergency room on Dec. 4, 2023, after seeing blood in her urine. While there, she got a frantic call from her 14-year-old son, who was hiding under the bed and reporting gunshots that sounded close to the house.
