PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) – A murder suspect pleaded guilty in federal court to shooting a woman multiple times.
Charles Carson-Dowdy of Mobile, Alabama, pleaded guilty to cyberstalking, interstate domestic violence, murder through use of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Investigators said Carson-Dowdy shot his girlfriend, U.S. Air Force reservist Star-Michael Tucker of Pensacola, several times before running her over with her own car in early 2025.
Court documents revealed Carson-Dowdy and Tucker began dating about October 2024 and the pair got into a series of escalating arguments while she was traveling in late December 2024. As Tucker returned home on Jan. 1, 2025, she tried to end the relationship in via text message…
