MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A blank hallway in the pediatric ICU at USA Health Children’s and Women’s Hospital is becoming an interactive “seek-and-find” mural designed to help kids feel more at ease.
Fairhope High School students spent this week painting an under-the-sea scene on a wall that once was blank.
“I think often white walls are sterile and scary, and I think this provides a childlike atmosphere and the ability for our families to interact and play a game and spend a few normal minutes together,” said Deborah Browning, CEO of Children’s and Women’s Hospital.
