Murder suspect arrested at AltaPointe in Mobile: ‘Red flags went up’

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Red flags popped up after a man with no identification walked into a Mobile healthcare facility looking eerily similar to a Louisiana man wanted for murder.

22-year-old Lee Collins III is accused of killing his mother and grandmother in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana.

Sheriff’s deputies believe Collins fled the scene on Easter Sunday, and they’ve been looking for him since.

Collins was found on Monday afternoon in our area of the Gulf Coast.

“He was actually across the bay in Baldwin County for some period of time before he was over here at AltaPointe in Mobile,” Public Affairs Manager for Mobile Public Safety, Blake Brown, explained…
