Mobile police make 2nd arrest in shooting that sparked house fire

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Mobile police have made a second arrest in connection with a shooting that sparked a house fire in the Maysville area last month.

Mobile police charged Desmond Berry, 19, in connection with the Plover Street shooting and a separate incident on March 10 on Old Pascagoula Road in which a vehicle and a residence were hit by gunfire.

He faces three counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle or building, among other charges.

Berry is due in court Monday for a bond hearing…
