MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Alabama Department of Transportation missed a projection it made in 2025 to start construction of a new Interstate 10 bridge and bayway by the end of the year.
But now, ALDOT officials say they are hopeful that it will meet a goal of starting by the end of this year.
Edwin Perry, the project manager, told FOX10 News that the contractor could start setting up its field offices and gathering construction materials in the next few months, so everything is in place when the project gets its “notice to proceed.”…
