MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Court documents reveal a man convicted in the death of a Theodore High School senior was arrested last week for failing to pay restitution to the victim’s family.
27-year-old Yaderik Madera-Morales booked into Metro April 23. As part of his sentence in 2022, Morales was ordered to pay restitution to 18-year-old Devinee Rooney’s family, but court documents show he hasn’t been doing that since his payment plan was set up in April of last year.
